Helping parents and professionals to better understand young people and their neurobiology, and support connection

When we understand how the nervous system shapes
emotions and behaviour, we can respond with more compassion and
confidence. I offer training, guidance, and support to deepen this understanding — whether you’re a parent navigating challenges or a professional working with children and families. Together, we can create environments where young people feel safe, seen, and supported.

Philosophy

I believe that adults, with support, are able to support children and young people in an atmosphere of joy, understanding and mutual respect. Healthy and attuned relationships are key for emotional wellbeing. Strong family connections also enable children to make meaningful relationships outside the family home which serve to empower and build self esteem.

About me

I am a therapist, clinical supervisor, and co-director of a perinatal parenting organisation. I have been supporting families and professionals for 25 years. I am also a parent to three grown-up children who have been my greatest teachers. It is through them that I have learnt the importance of the parent-child relationship. This is at the heart of my work.
